We’d book again in a heartbeat. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, and we had a lovely ocean view from the window. It was also close to everything. Best of all, it was so quiet. We slept better than on almost any other night of our redwood and coastal trip. The towels could use refreshing, though.

You can see a little of the sea through the trees from most rooms, and I liked the location. The rooms were clean, but looked a bit worn. I couldn’t find a beach within walking distance. The thin walls were my one real complaint. You could hear people next door talking in ordinary voices. Luckily our neighbors were quiet, so it didn’t cause much trouble. For the price, I can’t complain.

Unless you can get the total under $100, I’d skip this place unless it’s your only choice. It’s an old motel that seems poorly maintained and costs far too much for what you get. There were drafts because the door didn’t seal properly, loose carpet threads, water damage across the bathroom, and noisy neighbors. The tub floor was textured and stained gray, but apart from that the place was clean.

Wouldn’t stay again. This is an old, run-down motel, more like an aging Motel 6 than a 2.5-star place. The rooms felt dingy and a bit funky, and the towels were stained. There aren’t any vending machines, and the woman at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. It was mostly clean, at least.
