Best Western Plus Beachfrontin

Anna at the front desk made the stay for me. Her energy and humor won me over so quickly that changing my plans felt easy. I’d meant to stay in Crescent City and was only stopping at Beachfront Inn for a look before carrying on, but she turned that brief stop into the highlight of my travel day on the way to the Redwoods. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the view was amazing. That kind of genuine welcome is rare. I left with a memorable stay and would highly recommend it.

I’ll definitely be back. The room was comfortable and clean, with ocean views right from inside, and the bed was comfortable too. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I also love how dog friendly the place is. Nothing but good things to say.

The oceanfront view was the one thing I liked. I could hear the waves, but the rest of the room left me very disappointed for $300 a night. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the floors were filthy, and there was hair everywhere, including in the bathtub. My grandson kept picking things up off the carpet and trying to eat them. Paint was chipped across the front door and the doors inside the room, and a chunk of wall was missing by the entrance. It reminded me of staying in a Motel 6. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to take a hot bath, so I skipped it. At that price, I expected a clean room that looked nice. The rooms need major upkeep, including repainting and patching the damaged walls. I don’t think I’ll return.

I’ve stayed here a few times and never had noise issues. Even the ground floor rooms have a nice ocean view, and you’re right on the beach. There’s a pet area out front and a good free breakfast too.
