The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious, and the shared lounge had coffee, water, and tea for guests to serve themselves. We liked the eclectic decor and the location in a residential part of the fun, quirky Bishop Arts District. You can walk to the action, but the area still felt quiet, secure, and safe from riff-raff. For a short two-day visit, the hotel was comfortable and good value, though there were some inconveniences. It seems to be an old building that's been modernized and recently renovated. There's a stale smell, and the air freshener they use to cover it just makes the air feel heavier. Air purifiers would probably work better. The Wi-Fi was weak, which could be an issue if you need to stay connected, and the streaming services often cut out and had to be reset. It's fully self-service, with no concierge. We booked through a third-party site and weren't given clear directions for getting through the doors. Once we arrived it was easy enough to figure out, and support is available by email or text.

The location made it easy to get food nearby, with The Mayor’s House close by, yet the surroundings still felt quiet and relaxed. My room was comfortable, and it was clear they'd put effort into keeping the place nice. Everything was super clean and looked just like the pictures, which I appreciated. Contactless check-in was easy and convenient, and I liked not having to wait around or deal with a front desk. I had a really good stay, no complaints, and would definitely come back.

I live in Dallas and wanted one night somewhere to relax before my birthday. I'd visited a friend at this hotel before, but this was my first time staying on my own, and I was very satisfied. It's clean and nice, in a very quiet neighborhood. You'd never expect a hotel to be tucked away in that area. The only downside was no full-length mirror in the room. Aside from that, 10/10, and I'd book again.

It sounds too good to be true, but it really is true. The room was clean and spacious, check-in was easy, and I felt very safe. There are bars, eateries, public transit, and downtown nearby, yet the place was quiet. You can watch Netflix and other streaming apps for free. If you're traveling for work, I highly recommend it because it feels like home. Job well done!
