Comfort Suites West Dallas - Cockrell Hill

There are so many food options a short walk away, and the location is really good. The people working here are amazing, always friendly and wonderful. The rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable.

I booked on short notice because of a funeral. The hotel smelled like pot from the entrance throughout the building, and my room hadn't been cleaned properly. There were used false eyelashes on the nightstand, debris all over the carpet, and stained bedding. The air conditioner made a horrible noise. I had to get my keys reprogrammed several times, and staff were rude about it. They were too busy on their cell phones to be welcoming, and I wasn't acknowledged as a Rewards member. I've stayed at many Choice brand hotels, which can be hit or miss. This wasn't my worst experience, but I won't stay at this location again.

My stay was the worst I've had in a hotel. I changed rooms three times, and none were great. The photos show the condition of my new room as soon as I entered. In the prior room I dealt with a roach and other bugs, then had to move. I wish I'd photographed the bugs and dirty carpet too. The place was musty, stained, unsanitary, and broken, with weed smell and poor car security. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else.

I won't stay here again. There was a long wait at the desk, and they need a bell or something if staff won't be available for guests. The room smelled bad, as did the sheets and towels, and I had to buy a plug-in and Lysol to clean it. The room was very dirty, with stains on the walls and carpet, a sticky fridge, and a press-on nail on the floor when we arrived. The tub drained very slowly. The phone was outdated and dirty, with hair on it, and the TV had no streaming option.
