Checkout was a real disappointment. When I pulled the linen off the mattress, I found brown stains all over the bed I'd slept in, probably piss stains. No bed should look like that for a paying guest. I usually check and spray down hotel sheets and covers, but I hadn't lifted the fitted sheet and comforter this time. I wish I had. Before that, I thought everything was nice: the tru hotel looked good on arrival, the king room was standard sized with a very small refrigerator and a microwave, and the bathroom was spacious with bodywash, conditioner, and shampoo. They also serve breakfast.

The rooms are great, but there isn't a closet with a door for putting clothes in. There's also no carpet, which I really noticed in November when it was cold and I wanted somewhere to dry my shoes. The free breakfast was a letdown too: the pancake machine wasn't working, and the food didn't taste good. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially around the holidays.

Dogs in the room next to mine barked all night. I hadn't realized this was a pet friendly hotel, and by 5am I'd given up on sleeping. Then I noticed a red light on my phone and called the front desk, but the person there didn't know what it could be because they knew nothing about the phone system. Breakfast was awful, with rubbery food and fake sausage. They had no napkins, just a roll of horrible paper towel. The front desk person was sitting there vaping and on their phone. There was also a serious hole or depression in the floor by the exterior wall.

The room and facility were nice, but the staff were absolutely rude. No welcome, not one smile. The woman at the front desk on Friday night 1/30 needs another job and shouldn't be dealing with customers.

The rooms were clean, but the pool was cold and breakfast sucked. The pancake machine was broken, there were no eggs, and all they had was bagels, cream cheese, and hard boiled eggs 🙄.
