The greenline stops right outside, with plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and spacious, with lots of traditional features, and the team was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the traditional brownstone. There’s no served breakfast, but reception has complimentary cereal, pastries, fruit, tea, and coffee to tide you over. The front door gets locked after a certain time, so contact them if you’ll arrive late. They need to explain the self check-in, or you won’t get in.

We stayed with family for my daughter's graduation and had a terrific time. Enoelia, the overall manager at the hotel site where we stayed, was very helpful and gave excellent service. The rooms are charming and well kept, and the place makes you feel like you’re in old Boston.

A good choice if you’ll spend most of your time out exploring: the location is convenient, the rooms are large, and the beds are huge and very comfortable. The decor felt a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable, which was all we needed. Although breakfast is listed as included, what you actually get is cereal and low-quality muffins to take back to your room. I’d read that as no breakfast included.

My mother and I came to surprise my son for his birthday while he was at Boston University, where he lives in a brownstone two blocks away. We stayed in room 8 and loved it. There was lots of space, a giant TV, a fridge, and comfortable beds. The window AC was adequate. A fantastic experience.
