SpringHill Suites Tulsa

The outdoor lights were so bright that the room looked like daylight all night. We had booked two nights, but left on the second day because the awful smell was too much, and we weren't offered any money back for that night. The room smelled like sewer gas. I couldn't open the window, and when I went down to the desk, they told me the windows were sealed shut. I reported the smell and was only offered air freshener, which I declined. Running all the water seemed to help, but the room still smelled foul. The rooms have been renovated, but the old hotel seems to have had only cosmetic changes. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

There were no bugs or grime that I could find, and the room was large. The curtains blocked ALL the outside light, which let me sleep late, something I really needed. Staff brought us extra bedding within minutes of my asking, and I noticed them cleaning the elevator and floors during our stay. The hotel was very clean, and the continental breakfast was adequate, though I wish they'd add vegan choices such as fresh fruit or plain oatmeal. The people next door were incredibly loud and annoying, slamming the door every few minutes, cursing and yelling at each other, maybe storytelling, and waking us at 6 am with a loud, theatrical barfing sound. I wish the hotel had a way to monitor noise. Even so, we had an excellent experience for a very affordable price. My family of 5 shared one room for a little over $100 for the night.

I spent 2 weeks here, and the staff made the stay. Jillian, Destiny, RJ, and Dawn were some of the nicest and most helpful hotel people I've met. They always made sure I was looked after, found solutions when things came up, and were very accommodating during my extended stay. I have nothing but good things to say about them. If you're visiting Tulsa or just want a staycation, this is the hotel I'd choose. The staff will treat you amazingly.

Jillian welcomed me in a friendly, kind way, and my room was spacious and clean. It was easy to get to the BOK and other Tulsa attractions. I had a great stay!
