Home2 Suites by Hilton Brownsburg

The rooms were very clean, but I will never stay here again. Parking was such a hassle: with so many accessible and charging spaces designated, anyone arriving after 4:00 had to park behind the hotel. The back door wouldn’t open with my key, so after foot surgery just weeks earlier, I had to walk all the way around to the front in the dark and cold. I passed eight open designated spaces on the way, without even counting the ones open in front. Construction trucks filled much of what remained in back, and some took up two spaces, so parking back there was difficult too.

The breakfast was nearly gone both days, even though I arrived more than half an hour before it closed. There was hardly any food left, all the bread was gone, and the syrup bottles were empty or missing. The area looked as if vermin had attacked it. Several employees passed by the bare spread and did nothing. The “cook” seemed more focused on cleaning up and going home, and the front desk person also saw it but didn’t act. The manager clearly doesn’t care and lets the staff sleepwalk through their shifts. Shame on them. We checked into a nearby Home2 Suites later that week, and it was perfectly maintained. The hotel advertises free breakfast, but the cupboard was bare.

We’re on day two of our stay, and the very bad weather in the area has made things chaotic. The staff have gone above and beyond to help us handle the challenges, especially Walter. Angelique and Walter have both impressed us. The staff have been attentive and accommodating, and we’ll definitely use this property again.

My whole stay was awesome, and Kevin and Angel did a great job making it go smoothly. I checked out on December 14, then liked it enough to make another reservation for that night. I’m looking forward to coming back soon.
