Home2 Suites by Hilton Brownwood

Gabe at the front desk was a lifesaver after I arrived late from a long drive, completely frazzled. He was friendly, got me checked in quickly, and even suggested a good place nearby for a late-night bite. That kind of service makes a big difference. Thanks, Gabe !!

The rooms were nice, though the bed was a little worn and noisy. I enjoyed the breakfast, but be sure to get there before 9am. We stayed overnight, and this place seems best suited to families wanting all the home amenities. For someone just passing through, it's a bit much.

The room was bright and clean, with a big window and a comfortable bed. I could run the fan for some white noise, and I felt safe. The only issue was the Home2 carts: there are very few, and they're tiny for moving luggage and computer equipment.

Gabe was the desk clerk when I checked in, and I still remembered his name and personality two weeks later. He made the stay fun, had a great sense of humor, and texted a few times over the weekend to see if anything could be improved. The rooms were clean, cool, and well supplied. Breakfast was typical hotel fare or maybe below that. The waffle was good, but the rest was unremarkable for the room price. Hilton could easily do better with breakfast.
