Drury Inn & Suites Near La Cantera Parkway

Rosie at the front desk made my daughter’s birthday feel unforgettable with thoughtful touches and such a warm welcome. We felt appreciated the whole time we were there. Our recent stay at Drury Inn at La Cantera was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and the service made a real difference to our family. Andrew, one of the Assistant Managers, stood out from check-in onward. During the breakfast rush he was bussing tables, cleaning, and helping both guests and staff, all with a big smile and kind eyes. I also recognized a few people who had worked hard to get our room ready the day before, and they were pitching in across different roles as a team. I noticed and appreciated all the work that happens behind the scenes to make things go smoothly. God bless you all, and keep it up. I’m sure people in your personal lives see that same integrity and the way you brighten their days. The whole stay was a refreshing change, with customer service and attention to detail that can feel rare these days. They confirmed my reservation by phone, got us checked in crazy early, then made the room ready quickly so we could drop our things and freshen up before heading out again. Room 1209 had a great view, the bed was super comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean, quiet, and well air-conditioned. The breakfast and breakfast staff were great too. Highly recommend this hotel.

The free garage was especially reassuring since you need a room card to get in, and I felt safe during my stay. Six Flags and nearby shops are only a few minutes away by car. The hotel offers a standard continental breakfast and a 5:30 kickback with dinner, snacks, and up to three complimentary alcoholic drinks per adult each night. There’s also a self-serve fountain with Coke products. For a mid-scale hotel, I thought the price was good value. The rooms were clean and quieter than many places I’ve stayed, and the hospitality was top-notch. This was my first Drury stay, and it left a great impression. I’d definitely come back.

The buffet and the hotel’s location near Six Flags Fiesta Texas made this stay worthwhile. We went to the park while visiting San Antonio, and it’s very close. The little convenience store was useful too. There was a lot of construction around, but having garage parking was a plus. The front desk staff knew their stuff. The pool smelled strongly of chemicals, so I chose not to swim. I’d stay here again.
