Motel 6 Bryan, TX - College Station

I felt unsafe and violated during checkout. I woke up five minutes after checkout time and called the desk to explain I was getting dressed and packing so I could leave. Within 20 minutes, someone entered my room three times while I was changing and gathering my things. The front desk employee Misa came in too and stayed in the room. Earlier in my stay, an addict threatened me, and nobody did anything when I reported it. The room itself wasn't great either, though it could have been better.

The night clerk was so helpful when I called about my TV not working. They brought my card down, helped me move to another room, and checked that everything was good once I got there. I'm not usually one to complain, so I appreciated how kindly they handled it. I've never had a problem with this hotel, and the service keeps getting better.

I had a really quiet night, and Dairy Queen is right next door. The pool looked inviting, but the ice machine downstairs was out of order. There was another one upstairs that worked. The room was tough to cool, and I found a big bug crawling on the bathroom floor.

The grass and concrete right outside the rooms were covered in sticker plants. Inside, the supposedly non-smoking room had a terrible cigarette smell, and the toilet kept making noise.
