I've stayed here a couple of times, but after my latest experience I have to tell people to avoid it. I have a black lab, and his hair gets on my clothes. I don't dispute that. The hotel accused me of bringing a pet into the room and charged me $150 based only on a few strands of hair. There was no video, photo, or other proof. My dog was four hours away with my family. I told the manager, but he wouldn't even consider that. First he said he'd ask his “managers” and call the next day, but no one called. When I followed up, he said the head housekeeper knew better and he couldn't overrule them. Then he said he'd contact his leaders, but when I asked why he hadn't done it already as promised, he said he “didn't have time.” On my third call the manager wasn't there. I've escalated this to the BBB and my credit card company, and I'm trying to keep others from running into the same problem. Steer clear. Save your money and stay somewhere else, or pay a little more to avoid what I see as shady business dealings, mediocre rooms, and what I suspect is mold in the bathrooms. Do not stay here.

The lobby looked nice and the property seemed good overall. Breakfast was decent, though a few more choices would help. But for what I paid, the room was disappointing: the blanket had blood stains, the sheets had marks, the room didn't smell fresh, and the refrigerator hadn't been cleaned properly. At checkout I saw around 5-6 housekeeping staff. Management didn't seem to be supervising them well. One woman wearing spectacles who seemed to be a supervisor, along with others, was laughing and making loud noise in the hallway. It was embarrassing for guests. Management needs to pay more attention to housekeeping standards and staff professionalism.

Check-in was quick and the front desk staff were very friendly, a nice start. The room smelled strongly unpleasant, some sheets weren't clean, and stay-over service wasn't done properly. Housekeeping staff were also loud in the walkways and made it hard to rest. Management really needs to improve the team's work and pay serious attention to cleanliness.

We were told the conference room rental would be $75 with a $100 deposit. They said that if we brought in food, it would cost us $100 and the $75 would be refunded as long as there was no damage. That turned out to be a lie. We paid $175 to rent a nasty room with gross tables and a TV remote that didn't work. Then they tried charging my card again. I'm beyond upset.

The staff took care of a small issue, which made our stay much better. I was visiting my son at a local rehab hospital and found this to be a very nice place in a great location. Thanks to the staff at Comfort Suites!
