The room was typical and nothing fancy, so don’t expect Marriott or Hilton-style amenities. Still, the towels and shower were clean, the bed was decent, and I got a good night’s rest. The rooms were decent overall. Those comments about there being no one at the counter are true, but they did call to say my keycard would be waiting there and to call if I had any problems. Don’t count on the door’s deadbolt to stop someone who’s trying to get in. For location and price, it’s hard to beat in Bryce Canyon City.

I don’t usually write reviews, but people should know how bad this place was. We arrived three days ago for one night and had two rooms. Nobody was in the office to speak with, even though we got there well before its scheduled 10 o’clock closing. Our keys were left on the counter with our name. We never saw anyone in the office during the stay, though we needed help. Our room looked decent at first, but the bed was uncomfortable for me. The door handle was very loose, and the upper deadbolt didn’t work because the hole was off by half an inch. We blocked the door with a chair and our suitcases for security. In the morning, I found black mold under the sink. The sink was dripping, and the cabinet was soggy, so it must have been leaking for a long time. Our friends across the hall had the same mold and wetness under their sink. When we checked out, there still wasn’t anyone in the office. I called the property manager three times, left one message, and still had no response three days later. I recommend never staying there. It’s a danger to health and safety.

After hiking all day, I wanted to relax and watch TV, but the room had no chairs. The front office couldn’t find one either, so it wasn’t comfortable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and Candy, the very nice girl in the office, gave great service. She’s great! 10/10, I’d recommend staying here.

The building really needs repairs, despite the nice decorating. There were holes in the walls, and ice wasn’t available until afternoon, when a nearby restaurant or bar offered it. Our room was a good size, the AC worked, and the bed was fresh and comfortable. But the toilet had a leak that seemed to have been there a while. The bathroom smelled moldy, and the water running from the toilet tank was loud. Management couldn’t fix it, which was disappointing.
