Super 8 Buffalo Wy

The location worked well for us. It wasn't right downtown, but Buffalo is small, so getting around didn't take long. We were there for specific business and mainly needed a place to sleep, not a vacation in itself. We paid less than $150 a night, so the narrow, rough toilet paper didn't surprise us and wasn't a complaint. The room itself was fine, and the cable TV was nice, though there wasn't anything worthwhile to watch. Breakfast was labeled light, which seemed more accurate than calling it continental. Everyone on staff was friendly, and so were people around Buffalo. The online check-in email said 4pm, but they let us in at 3 when we arrived. If we return to Buffalo, we'd consider staying here again.

The rooms looked great and I slept pretty well, even though the beds were a bit soft. A few things could use updating. My only real complaint was that the hot water took more than five minutes of running before it got warm.

This was the worst hotel I've stayed at on my cross-country trip. The floor was so dirty I needed flip-flops to walk around, and the room seemed like it hadn't been swept, mopped, or properly cleaned in weeks. The chair was covered in dog hair that looked like it had been there for a month without being vacuumed. Even an economy hotel should provide a clean room. The owners ought to take some pride in what they offer, but it felt like they were being cheap, taking the money, and not investing in cleaning. I'd like to ask Wyndham to look into this.

The rooms were updated and very nice, and the building area and hallways were neat and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful too. It's easy to find, just off the interstate, with restaurants either a short walk or quick drive away. There's also a fun family activity center and restaurant right behind the hotel. A great place to stay.
