Home2 Suites by Hilton Buford Mall of Georgia

Troy Toomer, Director of Sales, greeted us when we arrived. He was professional, courteous, and friendly, and check-in went perfectly. My wife and I stayed for one night three weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The room was extremely clean, the staff were great, and the location was perfect. We had a quiet room, great breakfast service, and some good laughs. The whole stay was excellent. Hope to come back!

Breakfast was the best part of my stay, especially Miss Maria. Every weekday morning she makes fresh breakfast sandwiches to order, with a choice of biscuits, croissants, potato bread, or ciabatta, my favorite. She fills them with fresh eggs and options like cheese, bacon, sausage, ham, or chicken. They’re warm, fresh, and packed neatly to grab on the way to work. The smell alone makes you look forward to breakfast. Miss Maria greets everyone with a smile and sends you off with so much kindness that the day starts better. Home2 Suites Mall of Georgia should be proud of her. She really lifts the whole experience. I travel for work and spend a lot of the year in hotels, and Home2 Suites by Hilton Mall of Georgia in Buford is hands down the best Hilton property I’ve stayed at recently. It’s immaculately clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Every staff member I met was attentive and truly cared about guest comfort. You feel that hospitality as soon as you walk in. Clean rooms, fantastic staff, and a breakfast experience way above the usual hotel breakfast. I’ll absolutely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at a few Home2 Suites, and this has been the best one. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the front desk employees were very friendly at check-in. After a long day, they even gave me a disposable razor so I didn’t have to go looking for one. They also sent me off with a nice bag containing water and chocolates, a very nice touch.

We returned after being out for the day and found our room left open and unlocked by housekeeping. We had valuables and other belongings inside, and there’s no safe in the room. Nothing was taken, but it’s upsetting that the hotel didn’t seem to care enough about our security and privacy. On vacation I want to relax and have fun, not worry about whether my door was left open or my things could be stolen. I also agree with the review saying the staff don’t know what they’re doing. We asked to speak with someone and the front desk just handed us a business card. It’s close to the mall, but we wouldn’t recommend this place or come back.
