The only good thing I can say is that we had a roof over our heads. I waited over 30 minutes in a filthy lobby, then had to go outside and ring the bell at the window before anyone checked me in. The woman working was rude and acted like I was a nuisance. Our room was on another level of filthy, and I'm no stranger to rough places. I added photos. The microwave was disgusting. Someone had wiped its plate with furniture polish. We noticed a burning lemon smell, and the taste it left on our food made us sick and ruined supper. I checked the bed for bedbugs and didn't see any, thankfully. The bathroom looked like it got a quick wipe, but I wouldn't call it clean. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, the bedding was stained, and there was some kind of goo on the table and walls. Even the key envelope wasn't clean. I was completely disgusted. I'll never stay here again, I'd sleep in my truck first.

The room had a working microwave, mini fridge, cable TV, and ice machine, and the linen was clean. But the coffee maker and the USB lamp on my nightstand were broken, the carpet was filthy, and the beige bathroom fixtures looked original from the 1960s. There were some attempts to update the room, but they looked very DIY. Up front, the area smelled of Indian food, and mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, and a slop sink were in view behind the desk. After we rang the bell, two children came out and said their father would be there in five minutes. My biggest gripe was the advertised free breakfast. At 7 a.m. the office and breakfast area were closed with the lights off, and there was no breakfast. We just wanted coffee to go. There are several restaurants nearby, so we went to McDonald's instead. Given the low price, this motel might work if you keep your expectations low, but we'll stay elsewhere next time.

There were bedbugs. There were also holes in the top blanket, and the carpet was dirty and smelled disgusting. They judged me by how I looked, too. My sister used to stay here, and they never charged her a fee. When I arrived, they tried to demand a deposit because I have a front tooth missing and assumed I'd smoke heroin or something in the room. I had my sister come talk to them, since they don't charge her a deposit, and then they dropped it. The next morning I found a bedbug in the hoodie I slept in. I left the hoodie in the garbage with everything else I'd brought into the room. I want my $80 back.

The front desk staff were great, but I was only there one night. The bathroom light didn't work, the smoke alarm chirped all night, and the curtain by the front window was so disgusting I used a towel to open and close it. I left before the light breakfast, so I can't say anything about that.
