I spent two nights in room 13, “Mr. Sun,” at the Blind Tiger Burlington. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, peaceful and simple, and I’d absolutely recommend it for a getaway. The property is so well maintained, and the staff who greet you are amazing. I had trouble choosing a room because each one has such a different flair. Paige was so sweet and even took a video of each room herself to help me decide. I’m really grateful I got to stay here.

We came away already telling friends to stay at Blind Tiger, and our 25th anniversary there felt incredibly special. The inn is elegant and warm, thoughtfully run, with exceptionally decorated rooms where every detail feels intentional and high-end. Downstairs, the glowing fireplaces, cozy nooks, and charming Christmas decorations make the communal spaces enchanting. The Solarium was the real showstopper for us. It’s bright and peaceful, full of natural light and lush greenery, like a living garden. We kept lingering there day and night. With the snow falling, it felt like being inside a gigantic snow globe, and it was hard to leave. Katrina made us feel cared for from the start. Her warmth on the phone several weeks before our trip set the tone, and when we arrived she welcomed us like old friends. She greeted us again at breakfast the next morning, and the setup was impeccable, with really delicious food. She also made a beautiful charcuterie board for our celebration. That thoughtful touch made us feel seen and celebrated. It’s rare to feel so taken care of when traveling, and she did it effortlessly. Burlington is a sleepy town, though I imagine it must be vibrant in different seasons. Everywhere we went, we met lovely people who were happy to point us toward restaurants, delis, diners, eclectic bars, and breweries. We had the best time and can’t imagine a lovelier place for a milestone celebration. We can’t thank Katrina enough for making it unforgettable.

The inn is gorgeous, with lovely style and cozy common areas, and the staff are welcoming and know the area well. During the holiday break it felt like being in a Hallmark Christmas movie. Our room had a tub and an extra-comfy bed, just right for a winter getaway. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I eloped there this weekend, and we’re so glad we booked it for one of the most important days of our lives. It was a whirlwind weekend, but we’ll remember so much of it. Everyone working there was kind, warm, generous, and willing to go out of their way. By the end, even the other guests felt like family. Staff 20/10, service 20/10. Thank you, Paige, Katrina, and Kristen!!!

The solarium was a highlight, with a beautiful space to read and relax that still felt private even when other people were there. We stayed in “Treehouse” over a recent long weekend, and the view was stunning, even in winter. Breakfast each day was a fresh, well-balanced buffet with a range of vegetarian and vegan options. It’s well situated for downtown Burlington and Church Street, though walking there could be arduous in winter. We can’t wait to return when we’re in the area.
