The location is a big plus. The motel is in a good area, and getting into the lot is fairly easy, though it depends a little on which direction you're coming from on the freeway. The main office reception and waiting area feels open and welcoming. The staff I've met have been really nice. When a plumbing leak from the room above came through into my bathroom, they offered a small refund. I insisted on paying, but they lowered the price, if I remember right. The rooms are a decent size and have AC and heat, though the beds were firmer than I like. There was a little paint peeling by the windowsill, probably just normal wear. The bigger problem was my room door sticking when I opened it. I had to push it with my knee while holding the knob, maybe because the building settled or the wood swelled. It's a comfortable and fairly inexpensive place for a short stay, without feeling cheap. A solid four out of five.

I really enjoyed staying here. The room was great, with a comfortable bed, good bedding, and very soft towels. The shower pressure was amazing, and breakfast was good and helped me out the next morning before traveling. It felt like a luxury motel, and the price reflected that, but paying a little extra seemed worth it. Nice job, guys.

It's conveniently close to North Cascades National Park, and there was a pleasant grassy courtyard inside with several BBQ grills and lots of seating. There was even a cute pregnant cat. Breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, packaged cheese with nuts, bagels, cookies, and biscotti. Our room's AC wasn't working. They offered us another room, but it smelled of smoke, so we went back to the first one.

At 9:30 pm, they sent our group away with nowhere to sleep. There were ten students and two teachers, and the hotel refused us because the students were too young, even though we had a Booking reservation. They said their house rules overrode it. The whole thing felt stupid and completely insensitive. Worst service ever. Run away from this place!
