Hilton Garden Inn Boston-Burlington

The room had a low whining sound, like wind blowing across a harmonica, and I slept terribly. The bathroom was cramped and loud. I called ahead to ask about Ethernet and was told it was available, but the jacks in my room didn’t work. Nobody answered when I called the front desk or hotel operator, and I waited almost ten minutes at the desk before an employee appeared. When I asked to switch rooms, they told me there wasn’t any Ethernet. The whole place was dated and worn. I didn’t visit the restaurant, so I can’t comment on it. My laptop also couldn’t connect to the internet portal, though that might just be my computer acting up. One of my ten worst hotel experiences. Don’t stay here if you can afford to.

For the hotel’s rating and the price, it’s a great value. There’s a nice water fountain at the entrance with plain and lemon water. If you’re traveling with older folks, ask the front desk for a room near the elevator.

For someone without allergies, this is a comfortable, lower-cost option, and the staff are friendly, caring, and go out of their way to help. I’m generally a Hilton fan, but I have allergies and can’t say for sure the hotel is the cause. Still, both times I’ve stayed here, I’ve had a really hard time breathing. My allergy-prone colleagues have complained about the same thing too.

We had a corporate meeting here and accidentally booked a room that was too small. The team switched us to a larger one and had everything sorted in just a few minutes. Claudia, Holly, Samantha, and the rest of the staff were incredibly flexible. If you need a venue for an event, I’d happily recommend the Hilton in Burlington.
