The room was comfortable, simply decorated, quiet, and had a great shower. It was also a great value, with the motel easy to reach and close to restaurants and the main highway. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were immaculate, with little flowering surprises tucked around. One of the cleanest places I've stayed.

The landscaping is so lovely it made me jealous, with perfectly edged lawns, beautiful flowers, and a gazebo that was nice to sit by on a cool evening. The motel is well maintained and family owned and operated. The rooms are small, but the furniture is scaled and placed so everything works. They're clean, feel like good quality, and have really good soundproofing. It's close to downtown for dinner or coffee. We'll be back!

Ryne at CCI was friendly and a big help during the three days I spent there last week. I was touring the surrounding area by motorcycle, and he had good suggestions for roads to try. On the morning I was leaving, I found my rear tire was flat. Ryne went out of his way to inflate it temporarily with his mini compressor, then sent me to a local tire repair business where they put in a plug so I could get home. Ryne and CCI are A++. Burnsville is a terrific little town too.

Room 7 was perfect, clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and we absolutely loved our stay. I have one curious question: has anyone else said this hotel might be a little haunted? Lol, not in a bad way. I think it's a peaceful ghost. We heard footsteps through the evening, tapping and knocking in the bathroom, and the light kept turning off and on. Such an interesting spot. We'll be back 🩷

My brother and I stayed here while hiking Mount Mitchell, and I absolutely love this motel. The service was amazing, and the room was cleaned every day. It was lovely all around. I wish this inn were in every place I like to travel. Thanks for a great stay!
