We came for a week around Christmas to see whether we'd like this park after retirement. It's beautiful, the people are nice, and it's close to things. We liked it enough to look at a couple of park models as possible purchases. Donna, the park mgr, even showed us two new ones on the spur of the moment. We'll definitely be back!

The neighbors are good and the park is friendly, but Sun Community's and the current management seem focused only on money. The manager feels like a corporate climber and has no rapport with residents. Sun has steadily run this park into the ground. I wouldn't recommend red oaks to newcomers.

Since the new management took over, activities have been canceled or rescheduled, and issues aren't handled efficiently, if they're handled at all. Management seems more focused on cutting costs than making the park a positive and safe place to live or vacation.

The residents are nice, and the park has potential, but it's going downhill. Management is dishonest and disingenuous. Beware.
