The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and very nice. Check-in took a long time because they'd switched to a computer system that nobody seemed to know how to use.

I'm here for work, but the stay has felt almost like a vacation. The place is really clean and well cared for, and the staff were great. I really appreciated the service.

I cancelled 30 days ahead, when there were still plenty of empty rooms to sell, so I don't see how the hotel suffered any financial harm. My Expedia reservation was supposed to allow cancellation up to 7 days beforehand, but it had somehow been booked as non-refundable. Expedia was willing to cancel if the hotel agreed. Manager Kelsea Donahue first said she'd waive the charge and put that in writing, then reversed course and said they still wanted the money from Expedia. That wasn't a waiver. If this is how they run things, it says a lot about the rest of the business. There are other places nearby, so please don't stay here. In reply to the hotel's response: it's completely false. Expedia was willing to waive the charge, but the hotel wanted the money. That response is another fabrication, and tells you everything about this business.

The room was clean and arranged well, and the front desk staff were courteous. There's a restaurant and a pool, though we didn't use either. I'd stay here again.
