We had a comfortable, quiet stay, and the fourth-floor room gave us a nice mountain view. The rooms are on the small side, but worked well for two and were clean. There's a desk, microwave, mini fridge, safe, and a good-sized closet. My one gripe was the cloth shower curtain. Staff were polite and efficient, and check-in was quick. The hotel is close to the interstate, Butte mall, and other services, and next to Father Sheehan Park. The park has a playground, walking trails, and a covered picnic area. Watch little ones near the water-filled ditch. Front parking fills quickly, but there's a large lot behind the building with keyed entry. A pantry sells drinks and food, including steamed dumplings. Breakfast was the usual continental selection: fruit, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, sausages, and a make-your-own waffle station. I didn't spot eggs during peak time, though I'm sure they may be offered. It's pet-friendly; I saw plenty of dogs, and wondered if one neighbor had a bird. There's also a business center, fitness room, and hot tub, but we didn't use those. I'd definitely stay again.

Kevin at the front desk gave us the best customer service we've ever had. He was sweet, knew the area well, and made us feel special with great nearby food recommendations and local history. We have cats, and he even had treats for them. We were meant to drive another hour that evening, so we're glad we stopped here. The jacuzzi was actually hot, too. Kevin, thanks for a memorable stay. You've got a gem here, and we'll definitely be back. I'd give this place more than five stars if I could.

It's easy to get to I-90, with restaurants nearby, and there's plenty of parking in the back. The entrance is a bit tight. Check-in and checkout were quick and friendly, and the staff are professional. Breakfast was good, the beds comfortable, and having a pod coffee maker with regular coffee was nice. The rooms are a little small and the walls thin enough that I could hear people showering. Still, for the price it's a nice stay. This is one of only two hotels I'd choose in Butte.

We needed somewhere to stay during an emergency trip, and the price was good with breakfast included. The night clerk mixed up the rooms, but we got it sorted out. We ended up leaving because the hot tub was broken and the bed wasn't comfortable.

Kevin, the General Manager, turned my stay around at checkout. He was kind to our new rescue dog, who is unpredictable and not socialized after spending 4 years alone outside on a chain with a plastic dog house in the hills above Seattle, cold and wet. Kevin gave him a treat without knowing what had happened the night before. That made me think the overnight problem was an anomaly, and his kindness moved me from 3 stars to 5. Getting into the hotel late was awful. I'd driven from Washington to get the dog, and the passes were icy. Even though I'd paid in advance, the guy outside was angry when I asked him to let me in and made me pay a fee I'd already paid. He later said he'd been watching me stand in the cold for 15 minutes. I was clearly there for a reason. I was ready to give one star. While I was writing this review, Kevin came out and heard about Expedia pretending to be LaQuinta. I'd challenged the charge the night before through the useless customer service number they gave me, after going through a gatekeeper to reach a supervisor. I told Kevin to forget it and have Expedia reverse the fake fee, and we'd be square. Instead, he reversed the pet fee on LaQuinta's side. I hadn't expected that, and the price I paid now matches what was promised. Ask AI for the actual phone number for the actual hotel, so you can avoid Expedia acting and looking like La Quinta. Kevin more than fixed things. Corporate needs to add a phone number for this hotel and every hotel under Windham ownership, and fix its website. That was a problem.
