The hotel itself was amazing, clean and nice. I was there overnight for a school trip. The staff, though, were rude and aggressive. A guy at the desk, who was Black and had locs, was hostile toward my school. We only wanted to check in after already losing an extra hour, and we had an event to get to beforehand. He also let other schools check in ahead of us because they had a larger group. It wasn't too bad overall, but the staff need to be more professional.

I booked online and got a confirmation. When I arrived, an employee brought up my reservation and asked me to put in my credit card, then said they had no rooms. The site had said there were three left, so I don't understand what happened. I own a business in Killeen and travel from Dallas every week. I've stayed here often, but after this and a room issue the previous week, I don't think I'll be back. I went to Courtyard instead, much better.

I was misled from the start: the app let me reserve a King Suite that wasn't available at the property. The double queen room we got wasn't in great shape either, and the TV showed another guest's account details and points. Breakfast was $15 unless you’re a Diamond member. I'm Platinum and have always been offered those perks for free at other places around the country. Such a strange experience, especially when loyal customers get left out. Bad system, lol.

The hallways smelled like someone was trying to cover up mildew, and the staff weren't accommodating. They also wouldn't offer late checkout because I booked through my Venture card app. Worst hotel I've stayed at. I wouldn't recommend it, and I'd avoid IHGs off base.

The front desk staff were consistently nice. Still, you had to join Holiday Rewards just to get basic Wi-Fi, which most places provide free.
