Super 8 Buttonwillow

The breakfast room was pleasant and had a waffle maker, and the staff were all friendly and easy to talk with. My room stayed clean, and each morning it was tidied up quickly. I was in town from out of state for three nights while visiting Bakersfield, and the service was quick and courteous. Compared with other motels at a similar price, this was a great deal. I'm glad I chose it for the last few days of my trip.

Even with the highway nearby, it was quiet, with no loud guests or other disruptions. The rooms and suites are spacious, clean, comfortable, and cozy, and I liked that they allow dogs and cats. This is no longer a Super 8. It's been the NATIONAL 9 INN for two years now. The front desk and management were helpful and courteous, and the grounds, especially the courtyard grass, were well kept.

The beds were comfortable and everything felt clean, which made us really happy. The pool and hot tub were clean too, and breakfast was free. Getting here from the I5 was easy, and we didn't hear freeway noise. The room was basic, but it had a fridge and microwave.

The employees were nice, and having Starbucks right next door was handy. Still, for the price I'd choose somewhere else. The place needs updating: the bathroom floor had hair on it, the ceiling repair looked unprofessional, and the rooms weren't very clean. I could hear everything from next door, too. The old air conditioner and heater didn't work well.
