Econo Lodge Byron near Historic District - Warner Robins

The hotel is in a prime spot right off I-75, and the rooms are always clean. I love every stay I’ve had here. The owner and staff greet me whenever I come off the road from truck driving, and I really appreciate that they honored my last-minute reservations, even on their busiest days. Thanks again, Econlodge, for all you do!

Housekeeping meant fresh towels only, no bed-making, and there was no breakfast at all, not even a continental one. They did have coffee, but you may want to get a cup somewhere else. The pool is completely closed and filled with cement. I prepaid for two rooms when booking, but at arrival I had to pay again because she said the card was only there to hold them. Call your credit card company before leaving home to make sure you haven’t been charged twice for the same room. I’d make this place a last resort.

The best thing going for this hotel is its closeness to I-75. The room was dirty, with hair left on the bathroom floor by previous guests, and there was mold in the shower. I’ve never stayed anywhere with a roach problem like this, it seemed like an infestation. I was very disappointed for a Choice hotel. I thought they had standards to uphold.

We needed extra towels and bathroom products, and they were brought to our room within minutes. The customer service was excellent. It’s right off I-75 south, with plenty of places for gas and food.
