Courtyard By Marriott Detroit Downtown

From the 19th floor, I had an amazing view of the Detroit River and some of Canada. The room itself was spacious, updated, and felt great, with lovely bathroom decor, updated showers, and excellent lighting throughout, including in the bathroom. There were several plugs that worked with both brick chargers and USB A. Richard checked me in, made me feel welcome, and explained how to use the key for the elevators. He also mentioned the property had recently been renovated. It was my first stay at this location, but it definitely won't be my last. I'm already looking to book another night.

The people mover connects right into the hotel, which made getting around the city easy. I loved the river view, with Canada visible across the water, and the pool and workout area were incredible. The location is beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the staff were hospitable. I felt safe and secure throughout. It was a high-end experience from beginning to end. If you're looking for a hotel downtown Detroit, check this one out. I'm telling my friends and family about it.

The people mover is easy to reach through the hotel, which I especially liked. I do wish there were a parking garage of their own, though the nearby Public garage was fine. During my few days here at the end of October, the room was good and very clean. Staff were always around to answer questions, and I felt safe at all hours. I'd gladly stay again.

For a girls' night out, I brought my daughter and her closest friend, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. They were what sold me on the stay, and I can't wait to come back with my hubby. It was our first time staying in downtown Detroit, and a phenomenal one. Staff, amenities, cleanliness, and the views and location were all on point. Parking, the people mover, and Ren Center are accessible without stepping outside.
