This garage has huge monthly fees and terrible management. The EV charging station was shut down to make room for valet parking, and valets use resident-only spots on the Kales building level. The garage doesn't enforce resident-only parking there, so non-residents take all the spaces and leave residents with nowhere to park. It's especially bad during events.

I was uneasy about trying this garage after reading the negative reviews, but I needed to park near the Rocket Mortgage entrance at Comerica Park for a Tigers game field trip with my son's class. The underground lot is just steps from the entrance, so I gave it a try. There wasn't much signage. An attendant at the entrance, who I nearly missed because he wasn't wearing anything identifying him as staff, told me to drive in, scan a QR code posted around the garage, and follow the directions. The lot was mostly empty and easy to park in. After entering basic vehicle and payment details, I got a text explaining that the payment would be processed when I left. It clearly said I had six hours before another $30 would be charged, plenty of time for me. I left after the game and immediately got a receipt for $31.50. It was a simple process and saved me a lot of time. Several parents who parked farther away were late. For a Tigers game or another nearby event, I'd recommend this garage, as long as you follow the instructions and watch the time.

I used to like parking here because it was convenient and fairly priced. Now the charges seem arbitrary and have gotten ridiculous. They charged me several times the listed price and refused to refund me when I contacted them. I strongly recommend against parking here. The stairwells leading out are disgusting. They're often littered with human waste and stink in both cold and warm weather, so I have to hold my breath every time. For what they charge, it's not worth it at all.

They don't tell you the pass only covers eight hours. Go even a little over and they charge for another full eight. I was parked for eight hours and three minutes and got hit with a $126 charge for those extra minutes. The garage was bumper to bumper, so there was no way I could have left sooner. I wish I could stand at the entrance every day to warn people coming to Detroit for events that they'll get robbed. I'll pay extra to park somewhere else from now on.
