Baymont by Wyndham Caddo Valley/Arkadelphia

This place was clean, updated, and comfortable, unlike other hotels I've stayed at. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, with no hidden fees. I paid the room charge and pet deposit without a $100 hold that could take days to release. The outdoor lights were great, and I felt safe walking my dog in the very early hours. If you have the chance to stay here, do it!

The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and had no odors. I could hear the highway, but I always bring a fan to cover that up. The bed felt just right, and the blanket and sheets were great. At other places I sometimes get too hot, but not here. The shower had good pressure and spray, and plenty of hot water. I also liked having a full-length mirror. The fridge didn't have a freezer, and the lamps had outlets but you'll need an AC-USB connector. Breakfast had most things, including protein, though there was no yogurt or boiled eggs. The orange juice was delicious, and so was the coffee, even though it came from a machine. Impeccable staff and an excellent facility. I feel like I hit the jackpot getting to stay here. I'd definitely come back!

The bed was comfortable, but I probably wouldn't stay again. A loud drip from the leaking tub kept me up all night. The couch was tiny and uncomfortable, and the TV should swivel off the wall so you can see it from there. The coffee maker's coffee was terrible. Maybe flavored creamers would help. Breakfast was so-so, and they should serve bagels.

Scout and I arrived without a reservation and had a room within ten minutes. The staff were accommodating and dog friendly. The hotel was affordable, quiet, and nice, with food options close by. The bed and pillows were comfortable too. 10/10.
