Miss Pat’s cabins are adorable and impeccably clean, and I love that she stands up for what she believes in. The buildings were spotless too. Flooding has affected the grounds, but that’s due to Mother Nature, and severe floods have been an issue in this area. Otherwise, everything was awesome. I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Cadillac from now on. It’s such a great local option without the hassle of a hotel.

We were looking for a comfortable place to come back to after snowmobiling, and Birchwood Resort & Campground was just right. The cabins felt cozy and had all the modern amenities we needed, and everything was extremely clean. The location worked well for reaching the trails, with lovely surroundings too. The host made the whole stay easy from the moment we arrived. They were welcoming, helpful, and clearly wanted us to have a good time. You can see the care and attention put into the place. We’ll definitely be back.

She’ll find some excuse to keep you from leaving, even when you’ve paid up. If you value being able to take care of your own life, don’t bother staying here. She’ll keep you from coming back too.

The hostess was warm and welcoming, and the little details made the cabin feel like a real home. Even the washcloths were folded nicely, and the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner came in proper dispensers instead of tiny sample tubes. I stayed in one of the smaller cabins. The northwoods decor with wolves was beautiful, and it had all the usual amenities. It still felt a cut above anywhere else I’ve stayed in recent years. Can’t wait to come back.

The staff were terrific and paid close attention to what we needed. Our cabin was incredibly clean and cozy. I’d recommend staying here whether you’re planning a lovely weekend or a longer visit. I’ll be back. Happy travels. John Kelly
