The creek and waterfall alongside the hotel make a lovely setting, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. John and his crew do a great job making guests feel welcome. Willa's is a relaxed, laid-back place, with a friendly, accommodating proprietor and staff. The cinnamon rolls are superb, baked from scratch, and the lunch menu is well above average. I'll be back.

I've been visiting Glen Falls House once or twice a year since around 2019, and I think about it all year. The grounds are the magic: swimming holes and waterfalls on the property, trails, a huge garden, and a sauna tucked among the trees that feels hidden in the forest. The pool and tavern where the dance parties happen are under construction, but they'll return eventually. Without them, I've just spent more time exploring the nature. The food is always so good. If the restaurant is full, it can take a while, but it's worth it. Rooms are still a bit rustic, with lots of cool details and everything you need. I think all the light fixtures were made by a local artist. You can really feel the history of this more-than-100-year-old inn, in the best way.

Loved the beautiful views while walking around the grounds. I visited Willa's at its new location for the first time today, and both service and food were excellent. Greg's baked goods were awesome, as always. Highly recommend 😀

The grounds were beautiful, the hiking trails were clearly marked and maintained, and the sauna was great. With the pool and restaurant closed, it was a good excuse to visit the waterfalls and nearby small towns for food. The resort serves breakfast and dinner, too. I was let down when I arrived and learned that the cottage I'd booked wasn't available. I could see the cute cottage every time I walked the grounds, which felt like a knife through the heart, lol. The front desk apologized and was accommodating, and I hope to book the cottage next time. I also wish there were some relaxed group activities, like a s'mores night, ghost stories by the fire, or trivia. I got to chat with other guests, but wanted some kind of activity. In that sense, it felt more like a hotel than a resort. I stayed in a room in the main building.

It was overpriced, and the rooms lacked basics like a refrigerator or coffee maker. The bathrooms were so small they didn't even have a sink. Heat came from portable heaters that tripped the breakers and left you cold for the night.
