The room was so dirty that I brought out my clothes steamer and Lysol, and even used my electric throw blanket to stay warm. This wasn’t one of the remodeled rooms, but an older room still has no excuse for being unclean. There was mold and mildew on the windows, in the shower, and in the HVAC. The bedspreads were filthy, the furniture was dusty, and the coffee pot was dirty. The fridge and freezer were full of frost, and the toilet had no “just sanitized” banner. My key cards had to be redone because they wouldn’t work. I left the DO NOT DISTURB sign up while I was out, but someone came in anyway. They didn’t clean, just left towels. I have twenty more photos I’d post, but it takes too long.

The hotel was really clean and comfortable. Mr Patel and his family clearly take pride in the place. I’d recommend staying here!

The room was nothing special and only kind of clean. Being right on the road was awful, and I heard sirens all night.

The owners at The Surrey Inn were so warm and helpful, and the staff were polite and ready to answer questions or handle requests. Check-in and the rest of my stay felt professional, and they seemed to care about my comfort. My room was spacious, very clean, and had the essentials. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with fresh linens and soft towels. Breakfast was a highlight too, with plenty of choices, fresh ingredients, and options that could be adjusted to my preferences. The location was peaceful, while still close to Caldwell’s main attractions. The Surrey Inn exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily come back on my next visit. I recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, friendly accommodation in Caldwell.

The room was decent and clean, but management was very rude. We won’t be back.
