The internet didn’t work for me, and the lighting in both the room and bathroom was dim. Still, the price was reasonable and it was very quiet. The clean bedroom had a comfortable bed and a big TV that wasn’t locked down, so Fire Sticks and consoles worked. The bathroom was clean, with extra toilet paper and full-size shampoo and conditioner. There was a pool and gym, breakfast had plenty of choices and was good, and the front desk was very polite.

The TV remote is a little odd, and it took me a while to figure it out. A channel guide would help. I was told they’ve been trying to get one from the company for quite a while, without luck. Breakfast was good, especially the sausages. The front desk staff are wonderful and do what they can to meet your needs. Kat texted shortly after we got to our room and told us to reach out if we needed anything.

The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. My husband is a home inspector, so we check every hotel for bedbugs, and we didn’t find any. There was only a dead ladybug, which didn’t concern us. But the carpet and chair had dirt, lint, and crumbs, and there was mud smeared on the bathroom door. Both days, the pool area had old shrimp, beer caps, dirty towels, and old clothes, so it smelled like rotten shrimp. There were no clean pool towels, the floors looked dirty, and water dripped down the pool room walls and ceiling, leaving all the chairs wet. Water was also coming through the ceiling in the gym hallway. One of the two treadmills didn’t work. I used the other one, but its walking pad had a large gash that could trip someone who didn’t notice it or lift their feet enough. Outlet covers were broken, and there were bugs in the light covers. None of this was a deal breaker for me, but it seemed like they needed more help and some general maintenance.

I’m here for two nights, and it’s been a great experience. The staff are super nice, the place is clean, and breakfast is great. It’s also a good location for me, since my brother lives about five minutes away.
