Oceanpoint Ranch

We loved how easy the beach was to reach on foot, and the ranch-style rooms had a lot of charm. There were cozy bonfire pits onsite, too. Check-in went smoothly, and the host was helpful, suggested good restaurants, and made sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. It felt cozy and relaxing. We’d absolutely come back, 10/10.

The location is absolutely awesome, but parts of the room experience were frustrating. We couldn’t leave the front curtains open because people could see straight in. Other rooms had lace curtains, and for what we paid, I expected them in ours too. The TV needed resetting nearly every time we turned it on. We eventually learned to do it ourselves because we were tired of calling the office. Also, the toilets are extremely low, like the ones at a grade school, and would be very hard for anyone with knee problems or a disability to use. It’s a lovely spot, but some rooms don’t seem fully finished.

A great place to spend a day or two or three, though we didn’t have enough time to stay longer. It’s close to town, where we had delicious fired pizza and lattes with pastries in the morning. The room was small and lovely, with a luxurious mattress that had me sleeping great. There’s a family-friendly feel, dedicated space indoors and out, three fire pits, and a small pool area with a pretty little garden. The ocean walking path and beach access are just a short walk away, across the street. I added beach photos.

We had an ocean view, and the facility was very nice and clean. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff at check-in were pleasant and friendly. One evening we waited at the desk for a long time, then finally gave up when nobody came. There was no sign that anyone had stepped away and no bell to ring, which was frustrating. It wasn’t a major problem for us, though, and we’d stay again.
