We had a wonderful evening and were so glad to find this place. The people were great, and our room was very nice. For dinner we walked across the street to the Keystone Grill, then went down the street to Lake Ripley’s family restaurant for breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

We stayed in the Camrock Suite for several days while visiting family in Cambridge. The downtown location and convenient parking behind the building were great. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of space and a nice shower. Check-in and checkout are self-service, with the door code sent by email. We never met the owners, though they were in touch by email. The suite had plenty of places to sit, including a love seat, armchair, and table with two chairs, but the love seat was extremely uncomfortable because it had so little padding. The kitchenette was a nice feature, though there were no pots or plates, and we didn't need the stove or fridge. A few things kept this from being five stars. There weren't convenient outlets by the bed, so guests have to unplug lamps to keep a phone nearby. A power strip and nightstand, even on just one side, would help. The towels were still damp each morning after the first day, so an option for fresh ones or a second set would be nice. This feedback is about the CamRock Suite, Room 103, and other rooms may have better outlets and seating. We'd stay here again if we come back to Cambridge, but would pick another room.

Cambridge is a lovely little town, with unique specialty shops within walking distance, and we had a great getaway. The inn itself was charming, charming, charming. The hosts thought of nice little touches, like glass Mason jars to cut down on pollution, coffee, tea, and water for guests, plus a locally made mug you can take home as a souvenir. We only noticed some things near the end, like the toaster and dinnerware.

Twelve of us stayed at the hotel while we were in the area for our son's Strongman competition, which was a huge success. It was so much fun having everyone together, and we all fell in love with the beautiful hotel and its sweet, Hallmark movie kind of town. My husband kept remarking on how wonderfully the hotel had been renovated. We looked through the photo album and were amazed by all the work and how beautiful it turned out. The communication was especially impressive, from booking right through departure. Thanks for everything.

I stay in the area once a year for a business trip and will definitely come back to the Cannonball Room. Everything about the place was great. I've stayed closer to Madison before, but the extra 15-20 minute drive was totally worth it.
