The front desk young woman was friendly and helpful, which meant a lot after a long day traveling alone. I appreciated how immaculately clean the room was, and I'd stay here again. There were a couple of flaws: the nightstand light didn't work, and its switch and bulb had both been removed, so it looked like it had been broken for a while. The chair's ottoman was stained too. Still, it's a nice hotel in a very good location.

I stayed here on my way to a football game in Salisbury and would recommend it to anyone in the area. The room was a good size and very clean. There's a small but spotless gym with a range of machines, and the complimentary breakfast was really good, with the usual options plus a pancake maker. A very nice Holiday Inn with great amenities.

The bathroom vanity was nice, and the room was roomy and mostly clean, though the floor was dusty. The shower curtain didn't reach the floor, so water escaped the stall. That was annoying.

At night, the bathroom sink light shines straight toward the bed, which is a problem when one person is using the sink while the other is trying to sleep. The air conditioner also made the room hard to sleep in: a blue light blinked inside it, brightening the room, and it roared like a jet engine each time it started up. I ended up stuffing paper into the slots in front of the light to block it.

I arrived from Costa Rica at 1:00 AM on Oct 15 for a conference in town, only to find out at the front desk that my reservation had been cancelled on the 11th. Nobody had told me. The day after I booked, I called and emailed management to explain I'd be checking in late and describe the situation. They replied that everything was fine and set for the day. I had to book another hotel in Easton the next day, adding an hour of commuting each day to the conference. This is one of the worst Holiday Inns I've tried to stay at, and I wouldn't recommend this chain, especially this location.
