The room was adequate, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean, with a slight musty smell. Breakfast was about what you’d get most places. The check-in, though, was a horrible experience. Because Agoda sent the hotel $2.92 less than the rate, they kept us waiting for over an hour and wouldn’t let us pay the difference. Stephanie said their system wouldn’t take cash or another card charge, and struggled to get the extra money from Agoda while we waited. At first she suggested cancelling and booking directly with her, even though I showed her the confirmation said the reservation was nonrefundable. I asked for Tonya, the manager on duty listed on the wall sign, but Stephanie said she couldn’t be reached. I called to sort it out and was put on hold. Agoda returned the call to the front desk phone, so my wife had to find Stephanie outside on a smoke break. We were eventually allowed to check in. At checkout I explained everything to Tonya, but she sided with her employee and showed little concern. If a hotel treats people this way over $2.92, go somewhere else.

Housekeeping and the front desk staff were pleasant, and the rooms were fine apart from stains on the walls and dirt behind things that hadn’t been cleaned. Management is what put me off. Tonya in particular was rude and unprofessional, and I went to another hotel because of her. She speaks to employees just as rudely as she does to customers. I won’t be back.

The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, and we had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great too, and the staff were so nice.

The room was clean and had everything I needed, but the bathroom vent had mold. The toilet kept running unless I took the lid off and fixed it each time.
