Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Campbell

After a long day at work, all I want is to get home and relax, and this hotel has felt like home for well over two years. It never fails to keep me comfortable. The staff are great. Gio at the front desk is my go-to, and his GM Jorge is the GOAT. Thanks to both of you and the rest of the team for always going above and beyond to keep the clientele happy!

The staff made everything easy for our daughter’s wedding weekend, from the manager and front desk to the other hotel workers. Daniel helped us choose the venue and was accommodating throughout. We booked a guest room block, rented a room for the rehearsal dinner, arranged bar service, and got a suite for the bride and groom at the Courtyard Marriott in Campbell. Since the hotel mostly serves business travelers on weekdays, special events are easier to arrange on weekends. The weekend group rate worked for our daughter’s friends, and the rehearsal dinner room was within budget. The rooms were clean and nice, and guests were comfortable. The suite had space for ten women and a stylist to do hair and makeup. We brought in outside catering and gave guests drink tickets for the lobby bar. The bartenders were friendly and handled our large group as efficiently as they could. We’d recommend the hotel for weekend events or out-of-town visitors.

We were a family of four who needed a place to stay after a construction disaster at home, and picked this hotel for its proximity to the Campbell Pruneyard. It’s close enough to walk, and check-in was quick and easy. The lobby was fresh, clean, and nicely decorated for the holidays, though we didn’t try the food there. Parking was $15, which hadn’t been mentioned when we booked, and breakfast vouchers weren’t included. Our two-queen room was very clean, around 3.5 stars, but a little dated. The shower door needed servicing, and adjusting the thermostat wasn’t easy. We’d probably stay here again as a family if we needed to.

I’ve visited my daughter in San Jose twice and stayed here both times. The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful, making me feel welcome. One night at the bistro, a lovely woman got me an iced coffee and was so pleasant. I wish I’d caught her name so I could mention it. I can’t wait to come back.
