B&B at Oliver Phelps

Karin's breakfasts and hospitality were wonderful, and we loved the house and property at the Oliver Phelps B&B. We were in Canandaigua for a concert at CMAC and plan to stay here again next time we're in town.

The food was so good, and the owner is a special person and an incredible cook. She had fresh brownies waiting when I arrived, then served delicious breakfasts with locally sourced, healthy ingredients and interesting menus. She was accommodating about food allergies and preferences, too. My room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge and tub. There was also a clean water system for hot or cold water and a Keurig. The house is calm and quiet, and I felt at home right away. It's a peaceful spot for resting, yet close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. I can't wait to book another stay. This was my first visit to Oliver Phelps, but it won't be my last.

Karin was a gem, with delicious breakfasts full of local ingredients and lots of helpful ideas for things to do, places to visit, and restaurants. We tried several of her suggestions and were never disappointed. The house was charming, our room clean and comfortable, and the outdoor space lovely. We relaxed in the gazebo with wine, used the hammock, and even did yoga under the trees. It's close enough to town that we walked to dinner a few times. It was our first bed and breakfast stay, and Oliver Phelps set the bar high. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the fireplace made our room feel especially cozy. Karin was such a sweet, accommodating host, and breakfast was incredible, made with delicious locally sourced ingredients. I'd recommend this B&B to anyone, and we'll definitely be back.
