Canandaigua Guesthouse

We had a wonderful one-night stay while in town for a concert at CMAC. The host was friendly and gave us useful information, including a suggestion for where to go and park before the show. We'll look to stay here again when we come for another concert.

The owners' care and pride show throughout the property, with plenty of comfortable places to settle in and a small gas fire pit outside. We stayed in the leopard room, which had an amazing bathroom and an amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast and the available snacks were great, too. The owner greeted us warmly, and once we'd settled in, gave us some history and a tour of the house. Whether you come as a couple or with a group of couples, you won't be disappointed.

We rented the guest house for the weekend of my daughter-in-law's wedding, and it was just right for the occasion. The night before, all the girls stayed together there for a relaxed, fun evening. The spacious layout made it easy to get ready the next day, and doing hair and makeup in such a beautiful, comfortable home made that time special. My son and his groomsmen came over for their first look and photos on the wedding day. The house and grounds made a gorgeous backdrop, giving us pictures we'll treasure. Valerie and Jason were warm, welcoming, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and keep the weekend stress-free. The property is stunning inside and out, with charming details and beautifully kept grounds. It had the comfort and elegance we hoped for, and made an already meaningful family celebration even more special. We're so grateful we found this place and these hosts, and we'll always remember what they added to the day.

Valerie and Jason were excellent hosts, and my family had a lovely time at the guesthouse. I definitely recommend their delicious homemade breakfast!
