Lighthouse Inn

The staff went all out to help with my proposal plans. They brought flowers and a complimentary bottle of Champaign to my room, along with a handwritten note, which was really sweet. The room was amazing and the staff were even better. They absolutely nailed it. I’d give them a thousand extra stars if I could, and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

The kitchen pans were old, scratched-up Teflon, and I don’t think anyone should be using them. I had to wash the glasses before I could use them, too. The place wasn’t very clean, and the front desk people were so cold I’d have needed another jacket just to talk to them.

We had a clean room, friendly service, and a great location close to Haystack rock. Since we brought a pet, they’d left a small basket with towels and treats, which was thoughtful. The cookies available at check-in were a lovely surprise and delicious. I’d stay again if we come back to town.

The one-bedroom had an actual door, and the living room sofa and TV were a real bonus if someone wanted to sleep while everyone else was up. It was clean and well located. Still, it didn’t feel like a good deal for the price. We could hear people stomping around upstairs and traffic outside. There may not be anything they can do about that, but when I’m spending this much in CB, I want a little more quiet. They also promised free breakfast, then I found out after checking in that it was a mile away, so I didn’t bother going.
