Colorado Inn Motel

We like supporting mom-and-pop places, and this was a good one in canyon city. The building is dated, but the fresh paint and home decor in the rooms give it a lift. A very nice woman helped us find dinner and breakfast spots. The hospitality was so great, I can’t say enough about it.

My wife Christy and I came to Canyon City for one night and ended up staying 4 or 5 because the service was so good and the room was clean, fully stocked, and very nice. Room #1 treated us better than any hotel on our 8 day trip from Texas to Colorado. The Colorado Inn owner/Manager was welcoming, professional, and extremely accommodating. Even though much of our business was in Pueblo and Colorado Springs, we kept wanting to stay here. The room had good wifi, a comfortable bed, more towels than we could use, and good cold air. It was fully equipped, and when my wife realized she’d left our hair dryer at home, the manager brought her one right away. The shower pressure was great, too. I highly recommend staying here. There’s also a really good Mexican Restaurant behind the motel.

We were in Canon City for a wedding, and my friend and I found the Colorado Inn affordable and comfortable for a quick stay. It was quiet, and we felt safe. The owner was kind and kept in touch. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the woman in the office was incredibly helpful and kind. This was a better find than the chains. We’ll be back!
