We booked a King room but found ourselves in a double bedroom. The staff didn't seem very apologetic or offer a solution. The room itself was nice, though the walls were thin and we heard our neighbors much of the night. Finding the place was confusing too. The hotel is tucked behind another one, with unclear signage and a confusing driveway. If you want a nice room and minimal customer service, this is a nice stay. At $250/night, I expected something more hospitable.

I’m filing a complaint about what happened during my recent stay. My friends and I were in the room celebrating a birthday with music playing. The manager came in and immediately accused us of smoking, though we'd only lit two birthday candles. He said there'd been multiple complaints, but nobody had called or warned us to quiet down first. He also said only four people could be in a room, a rule that hadn't been disclosed when we booked or checked in, and demanded that five of the nine people leave. While we gathered our things and tried to work out who would stay, he threatened to call the police. It felt unnecessary and escalated things. This could have been handled more professionally, with better customer service.

The free breakfast was reheated and not good, so we made our own food instead. Having a full size fridge, toaster, and microwave came in handy. But we paid well for a room with a tub, and this room didn't have one, so we overpaid. The shower head was defective. Samuel told us we'd get another room, but we didn't because apparently there wasn't anything comparable. Then Samuel said a repairman would come the next day, but nobody did. I contacted the property directly and got no response. A shame this place lies to you.

Sam at the front desk made a real difference to my stay. He was professional, patient, and incredibly composed, even with some very difficult guests. His customer service was top-tier and he went above and beyond. I had a great stay at Home2 Suites in Canton. Big thanks to Sam!
