Quality Inn West of Asheville Canton Area

There was mold in the bathroom, and I'm just glad there weren't bedbugs. The manager was rude from the start. I called to let them know I'd arrive late, and he yelled at me and hung up, so I had to call back twice. When I got there, he snapped at me about where I could walk on the floor, then took me to a computer off to the side and refused my card even after I showed more proof it was registered to me.

We were the only car in the lot, and I would have left if we had another option, but we had our one-year-old with us in the middle of the night. We stayed less than six hours and were charged $137 after seeing $75 online. The online price was what convinced us, so that difference is crazy. The place wasn't what we'd been led to expect, and the prices online felt misleading. The hallways smelled strongly of smoke despite the “no smoking” claim. The sheets were damp and smelled musty, and the other bed had dried blood on it. I've still had no response about a refund. I'm disgusted and unimpressed. Horrible experience.

The manager is a really nice guy and does a great job keeping things running. He's welcoming, runs a tight ship, and keeps the hotel clean for what it is. It's a very nice and affordable place.

We had a lovely visit. The staff were super nice, and the rooms were clean with everything we needed. The pool was pleasant, set in a pretty little courtyard with Dahlias. It's conveniently located and a great price.
