Relax Inn

We stayed here on our way to GA, then came back two weeks later. It’s pet friendly, and the pet fee wasn’t much, which I’m grateful for. Thanks, Relax inn, y’all are so kind and caring. We’ll definitely be back.

When I need to get away and relax, I check in at Relax Inn, Canton, MS. I really appreciate the first class, five star customer service and support. It’s a great Relax Inn.

We barely got through the night and checked out as soon as we could. I wonder how this place passed any safety or health inspection. The name “Relax Inn” is misleading. It was a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially families with kids. We stopped there during a family road trip to Louisiana because nearby hotels were sold out. The front desk service was poor from the start. On the way to our upstairs room, with no elevator or wheelchair access, we passed men drinking and making loud noise outside. It felt more like a run-down hostel than a hotel. The room was dirty, old, and poorly maintained. The bedding looked worn, with no proper pillows or bedspread. The bathroom was filthy, and the towels looked stained. The fridge and microwave were disgusting, and the microwave was so rusty and dirty that we couldn’t imagine eating. We didn’t feel safe letting our kids touch the floor. If you’re thinking of staying here, know what you’re walking into.

Hot water was out for a whole week, and they refused to refund us or offer any compensation for the terrible stay. The owners are nasty and rude, nosey and cheap, and can’t control their dog, which will attack you unprovoked. There’s lots of smoking and drinking outside, with loud music and partying. The old furniture is stained and musty, the carpet is filthy and outdated, and the towels are like dirty old rags. The parking lot is always overflowing with trash. There’s a lot of drug and other illegal activity at this motel. It’s an awful place with horrible owners. If I could give it negative zero, I would. Worst experience ever.
