The room made our trip less enjoyable, and I’d never stay here again. Its tiny window A/C couldn’t keep up even when it got just a little warm, though luckily the weather was in the 60s. Staff were okay, but a bit curt when we really needed something. The tub clogged while showering, and good luck watching TV. There was also someone sleeping on the lobby couch.

Matt and Mona were lovely and helped make our stay enjoyable. We had a great time in the manager’s suite and would definitely come back.

Think of the kind of hotel you remember from childhood in the 80s, with a relaxed, friendly, family feel. Don’t expect a luxury resort. You can swing or rock on the porch, hang out by the pool, or rent a golf cart or bicycle to explore the island. We’ve stayed here two years running, bring our pup, and will keep coming back. They welcome pets too. Thanks for a great vacation, though leaving is a bummer!

We’ve stayed in the Bridge rooms on both visits, and they’re our favorites. Just know they’re on the third floor and you have to go outside to reach them. The wind howling up there makes for deep sleep. It’s been a wonderful stay every time.
