Hot Tub Haven: Creekside Cabin in Frisco!

The place is private, set beside beautiful wetlands, and you can kayak straight from the property to the sound. The ocean is only a short drive away, and Frisco Rod and Gun, with its well-stocked little grocery store, is less than a mile down the road. I've stayed here many times since it first became available, including a lovely week in October, and it's never disappointed. It's my favorite rental on the OBX. The owners are great and keep the property beautiful. Just ask if you need anything.

The owners are professional, really friendly, and respectful of guests' privacy. They told us they plan to add a hot tub to the back-deck area next year, which might be ready for my next visit. Looking at the stars from that deck is already a huge wow. I've been back several times, and staying at Soundside Escape is always the highlight of my year. It's secluded and peaceful, lovely for relaxing and spending close time with the people you love. The website has great photos of the inside and outside, including the wraparound deck and fish pond. It's on the sound side, but the beach is only about a five-minute drive, and Ocracoke is easy to get to for a day trip. You can get away from the island beach bustle and still be near things. It's reasonably priced, too. I highly recommend it for a beach stay.

Katherine was a gracious host, very nice, and quick to answer all my questions. The Creekside Cottage is clean, adorable, and well cared for, with everything we needed. The outdoor deck areas add a lot of charm. I'd definitely recommend it.

We loved the hot tub, and the price made it even better. The marsh is full of tree frogs and lizards, which I loved. This is our new favorite outdoor escape for two, and we'll be back and tell everyone who'll listen about this hidden gem. It's in beautiful Frisco, with great beaches nearby. When we arrived, the nature and scenery were incredible, and the hosts made us feel welcome. They're friendly and laid-back. The space is used so cleverly, and the whole stay was more than we imagined. For outdoorsy people like us, it's an A++.
