The Villas of Hatteras Landing

We especially liked the rear balcony overlooking the pathway, and the kitchenette was very nice. The room was a good size and tastefully decorated. Great location and a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend it.

The office woman was very nice and responded quickly when I reported the problems. I’d already cleaned things up by then, but despite all of it we had a good stay. There are a few shops nearby, along with the Museum of the Atlantic. The room smelled musty, and even though we had to wait until 6 pm for cleaning, it still wasn’t clean. There were fingerprints everywhere, food on the floor, a cinnamon roll under the bed and a bag of trail mix under the fridge. Dishes were still in the dishwasher, and somebody else’s underwear was in the drawers. The building also needs repairs, and the laundry rooms with ice and vending on each floor are pretty rugged.

Shops are close by, and the place is right next to the ferry. It was clean and cozy, with all the amenities from home. Great location, and I’d definitely stay again.

We had a roomy one-bedroom and thought the amenities were great. April was very quiet, too. Great vacation spot, and we’ll come back later in the year!
