Mike and John helped us get settled, which we appreciated. Everything was fine until they charged us extra for electrical on top of the $115 per night. After years of RVing, I’d never run into that before.

You can hear the waves crashing right from bed. The park is super clean, and Mike and Nancy are incredible hosts. Can’t wait to come back!

The one thing this campground has going for it is how close it is to the beach and town. Otherwise, nothing redeemed it for us. The Harvest Host parking lots we stayed at along the way were much more pleasant. Never again. Save yourself the regret and don’t stay here. In nearly 20 years of camping, this was the worst campground we’ve been to. I usually only take time to write positive five-star reviews, but this one is an exception. Mike and Nancy have no business in hospitality. They were the rudest owners we’ve ever met, telling us what to do and how to do it, and trying to nickel and dime us for everything. There were zero amenities: no office, store, activities, bath house, trash pickup, or even friendly people. Full hookups were the only amenity we paid for, yet they didn’t work properly for two campers traveling with us. Those campers were told to turn on their propane. We’re charged for everything, but the least they should provide is electricity. We weren’t going to burn our own propane instead. We were also told we couldn’t be outside our camper after 10pm, and they came over to say we couldn’t leave the camper vent open. They had something to complain about constantly.

I haven’t stayed at Flaggs RV park, but three people in one of their trucks helped me today. My car broke down in a dangerous spot, and these three heroes pushed it out of harm’s way. If they’re willing to help a stranger like that, I can only imagine their resort is wonderful. I’d definitely stay there or book it for visiting relatives. Thank you to the three men on Route 33 today!

The campground is clean and nice, and just a short walk from York Beach. Nancy and Mike are personable and helpful, and add a special touch. I’d definitely come back. Thanks to both of them for making our stay so nice!
