The check-in was easy, all handled by email, text, and door codes, and the owner was attentive and easy to reach. Our suite had a modern bathroom with a tub, and we enjoyed sitting on the second-floor porch with a bottle of wine in the evening. It's a charming, quaint hotel in Carrabelle, built in 1899 and still full of early 20th century character. The rooms are a little small, but exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I'd highly recommend it for a few days in town.

We were excited about the stay, but it was disappointing. The Hemingway suite looked really nice when we arrived. After my boyfriend and I went to the beach, I came back and saw a flea on the towel I'd used only to dry my hands. I hadn't even showered. I can't say the hotel has fleas, but seeing one made me paranoid. Neither of us has a dog or any other pets. Since the inn allows pets, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the animals coming through had fleas. The rooms have carpet, too. I'm glad we didn't book the two nights we'd planned. We'll definitely return to Carrabelle, but pet-friendly places are off our list.

The Captain’s Quarters was such a lovely room, and the whole place felt quaint and quiet. The bathroom is across the hall, but it's private. The kitchen next door had everything we needed. What a treasure. I'd definitely stay again.

We made a last-minute stop during a cold winter advisory in the off season. It was quiet, and although nobody was on site, we got in easily after registering by phone. There's no TV in the room. It looks like it might be fun to stay here in spring, summer, or fall.

Our room was great, and the place is cute, with a cool spot to stay. We were told the building has new owners. They still have some work to do, so let's support this small business. I'd highly recommend staying here.
